Each time you look, you're bound to find something you haven't seen before. Can you spot the elusive fox on the George Town Quilt or the ghostly depiction of the George Town Female Factory, the Curries River Dam or the Tam O'Shanter Golf Club?
The Quilts are displayed in the foyer of the Jim Mooney Gallery, George Town Memorial Hall, which is open between 9 am - 4.00 pm Monday to Friday and whenever there are activities in the hall. The quilts were made with the assistance of a grant from local company Ecka Granules to commemorate George Town's Bicentenary in 2004.
