The
Lobster Ponds Haven offers a unique experience to view and learn about the
Giant Freshwater Crayfish. These extraordinary creatures are the largest
crustacean in the world and are exclusive to Northern Tasmania. The viewing room with
its tanks and pond enable visitors to get up close to the lobsters. Then
enjoy the peaceful relaxing atmosphere of the outdoor ponds set within the
native gardens as you learn about these extraordinary creatures. We are
located in the quiet farming community of Flower dale, just 10 minutes drive
from Wynyard.
